ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
STACKED
By bridging the gap of private and public space, it allows the user to experience the building to its fullest. The private spaces that break up the floor creates a subtle difference in texture, light, feeling and allows the spaces to feel more comfortable to the human scale.
CONCEPT
The separation of public and private spaces start to weave together and create moments of interactions and separations. The plate becomes the floor plane while the rods create a division in spaces in section. It creates an alternating pattern of private and public spaces.

FIGURE/GROUND
The private spaces are distributed throughout the building, alternating between each floor. This creates a stacked, or checkered pattern
